SEWS-E is a manufacturing organisation working in the automotive industry, employing c.22,000 people. Headquartered in the UK, SEWS-E run 4 payrolls of approximately 250 corporate staff and management, along with an international payroll for expatriates.

In 2014 we went live with auto-enrolment and re-enrolled in May 2017. The support of Cintra throughout this process was exceptional, and this coupled with the exceptional functionality of Cintra iQ in handling the auto-enrolment, led to a flawless process. The same applied to the introduction of RTI and more recently Gender Pay Gap reporting, where Cintra always seem to be one step ahead of the game.

For Cintra, communication is the key and they ensure that as clients we are regularly communicated with. This is in the form of the regular newsletter we receive, which contains useful payroll and HR updates and advice, as well as letting us know what’s happening with the ‘Cintra family’ and their efforts to support local and national charities and events. They have also recently introduced a Cintra User Group intended to discuss and share knowledge between clients – a great addition to the Cintra communication strategy.

From the implementation team through to the technical team, bureau staff and even the CEO, all of Cintra personnel are diligent, dedicated and extremely knowledgeable in their field, whilst always remaining friendly, flexible and approachable. This is coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude which often leads them to go the extra mile to ensure that we as customers are satisfied, in fact more than that – delighted!

Having been long standing clients of Cintra, first starting our payroll with them in 2004, we now view than as so much more than a service provider, but more of an integral part of our HR department, as well as colleagues and friends.
