Now that the Christmas festivities are a distant memory, the countdown is on for the annual Cintra client conference, scheduled to take place on Thursday 1st February!
The conference has a fantastic cast of speakers who will provide key updates on payroll issues and HR challenges. There will also be an update from Cintra covering new developments and future plans.
The day kicks off with a detailed payroll and HR update from leading industry expert and Cintra’s Head of Legislation and Compliance, Ian Holloway, followed by a topic dear to everyone’s heart at this time of year…motivation! Lysa Morrison returns to the conference for a second time, with an insight into the relationship between personal motivation and its impact on employee engagement and customer satisfaction. We are also delighted to welcome HMRC who will look at topical issues affecting payroll, both currently and in the near future and Helen Brain from Square One law, who will shed some light on the new GDPR Regulations.
As in previous years, we look to provide something a little different from the norm, and are therefore thrilled to close the conference with an inspiring story from former Royal Marine Commando, JJ Chalmers, who sustained life changing injuries as a result of a bomb blast in Afghanistan in 2011. As part of JJ’s rehabilitation he competed at the Invictus Games in 2014, where he won three medals in cycling and athletics. His experiences there lead him into the world of broadcast and presenting. He has gone on to work on many high profile sporting events including the Rio Paralympics for Channel 4, as well as returning to the Invictus Games as a presenter for the BBC.
