Cintra are delighted to feature in the shortlist of finalists for this year’s CIPD North East of England HR&D Awards. The awards feature eight categories spanning everything from learning and development, health and wellness, diversity and more. Cintra have been shortlisted in the hard fought category HR&D Excellence in SMEs.
Finalists from across the North East will gather on June 21 at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park, to find out if they are among the winners.
The co-chairs of CIPD North East, Elouise Leonard Cross and Sarah Carnegie, said: “The CIPD awards celebrate the innovation and good practice in HR&D that is happening in the North East – and there is so much to celebrate. It’s great to have the opportunity to highlight the people, teams and organisations that are leading the way.
“Providing a platform to recognise the great practice and positive outcomes of HR&D professionals is important, and the HR&D Awards allow us to do this in style.
“Since the awards were established we have enjoyed the company of nearly 4,000 people at the evening dinners and celebrated the achievement of almost 90 winners. We have a great line up of finalists for the 2018 awards and we are looking forward to being able to celebrate the achievements of all the winners.”
Commenting on the shortlist, Cintra’s Director of Culture, Suzanne Cowen said: “I am absolutely delighted that Cintra have been shortlisted for this award. Our approach, similar to Cintra itself, is anything but conventional, so to be recognised by such a prestigious industry body as the CIPD is truly something for us to celebrate. To win would be the icing on the cake but the shortlist alone is a fantastic achievement, of which we are all proud as punch!”
