Cintra HR & Payroll Services have been awarded the accolade of Payroll Software Provider of the Year for the 2nd time in 3 years, at the prestigious UK Payroll Awards.
Judged by a panel of industry experts and dubbed the ‘Payroll Oscars’, Cintra fought off tough competition from several multi-national payroll providers to win the award, presented earlier this week at BAFTA, The British Academy of Film & Television Arts in London’s Piccadilly.
Cintra’s Chief Executive, Carsten Staehr commented: “What makes it particularly nice to win the award this time, is that 50% of the decision was based upon customer surveys which had to be completed online and over 100 of our customers, took time out of their busy schedules to support us.”
Institute of Payroll Professionals Head of Policy and Research and Awards Judge Kate Upcraft said: “As judges, we had to do nothing as your submission and your customers did it for you and you fully deserve it – a huge congratulation from all of us”.
Cintra were also honoured as runners-up in the other top category at the awards ceremony, that of Payroll Outsourcing Provider of the Year, which almost made it a clean sweep of the top two awards.
Carsten Staehr also said, “I am absolutely delighted for everyone in the company to have picked up this award, which bears testimony to our commitment to provide user-friendly solutions, backed up by outstanding personal service to our clients. I would also like to give special thanks to all our customers, who with their strong endorsements, made this possible”.
Cintra software solutions pays more than 160,000 people a month and handles more than £1.2 billion worth of BACS payments per annum from its North East base. The software is HMRC accredited and their Bureau department is fully BACS approved.
