Gateshead based Cintra HR & Payroll Services, a UK leader in flexible HR & payroll systems has announced that one of its staff has won a national award for payroll excellence.
Michael Hughes (pictured) has scooped the Payroll Bureau/Outsourcing Employee of the Year in the face of stiff competition from around the UK. Cintra was also highly commended in the “Payroll Software of the year award 2008”.
Cintra’s CEO Carsten Staehr commented, “As our customers are at the heart for everything we do, training is a key element in delivering the type of customer service that will not only meet, but will exceed the expectations of even the most demanding and discerning of clients. This commitment to training and development has obviously paid dividends and we are all delighted for Michael that he has picked up this prestigious award.”
Michael was also understandably thrilled at his award and commented, “My Mum, who also works for Cintra, encouraged me to apply for a job at Cintra four years ago, and what convinced me to join the company was that I could see that there was a commitment to training and personal development and a clearly defined and visible career path.
