Cintra HR & Payroll Services was recently nominated as a ‘Champion Business’ in the Chronicle Champions Awards.
The Chronicle Champions awards, launched in 2012, are designed to recognise the region’s unsung heroes. The Awards highlight individuals and organisations whose commitment, courage and community spirit help make our region special. Cintra was nominated for the Champion Business Award by St Oswald’s hospice, one of the many charities supported by the Gateshead based HR and payroll company. This year alone Cintra put forward a 64 strong team for the annual St. Oswald’s Kaleidoscope 5K, helped to sell raffle tickets and Christmas beanies and donated a giant Christmas tree to adorn the entrance to the hospice, as well as sending staff to decorate the internal Christmas trees too.
Cintra CEO Carsten Staehr was delighted with the nomination: “We are incredibly touched by this nomination. We recognise that St. Oswald’s Hospice has many tremendous supporters and volunteers, so the fact that they chose to put us forward for this award means the absolute world to us. We are extremely proud to be runners up in such worthy company too.”
