Regional charity St. Oswald’s Hospice is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and is encouraging friends and supporters of the hospice to take part in a ‘Big Birthday Bake’ in celebration of 30 years of care. 

Staunch supporters of the hospice, the team at Cintra were only too happy to don their aprons and cook up a storm.  The office was filled to the brim with an amazing array of tasty homemade treats, ranging from a generously filled corned beef and potato pie to  a chocolate and courgette cake, for the more health conscious! The sale of the cakes raised £161.75 which Cintra doubled to make the grand total raised £323.50.  A fantastic amount for a bake sale!

Cintra’s contribution to the Big Birthday Bake was spearheaded by Company Secretary Gemma Dougal and PA to the CEO Alex Watt: “We know that our generous staff are always keen to support St. Oswald’s.  Its an amazing local charity which has touched the lives of many. We also have some ‘bake off’ standard chefs too.  A winning combination that made for a fab day and a great start to the week!”

Corporate Fundraiser Siobhan Seargant is bowled over by Cintra’s continued support: “Cintra does it again!  They are such a lovely bunch of people and we really appreciate their support.  They’re always first in line to sign up for any new fundraising initiatives, as well as coming up with ideas of their own.  It is thanks to efforts such as these that we are able to continue to provide care for adults, young people, children and their families.
