Due to the current UK Covid-19 restrictions people should stay at home and where possible work from home. You can only travel, including internationally if you have a legally permitted reason to do so.
From 18 January anyone travelling to England or from 15 January to Scotland (including UK nationals returning home from abroad) must provide a negative Covid-19 test result taken up to 3 days before departure.

Jobs eligible for travel exemptions
Some people may not have to take a COVID-19 test or self-isolate on arrival in the UK, because of the jobs they do. The guidance lists the jobs that qualify for an exemption and sets out:
- which exemptions apply
- any conditions they will need to meet or evidence they will need to show
Please note that advertising productions is no longer exempt. A full list of jobs that qualify for an exemption can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-travellers-exempt-from-uk-border-rules/coronavirus-covid-19-travellers-exempt-from-uk-border-rules
