Entry is now open for this year’s Coast to Coast cycle race in aid of COCO.

Can anyone beat team Danish Dynamite? They are queuing up to try! So far we have 11 Cintra teams registered for the Coast to Coast, taking place this year on 23rd-24th September. The race covers 137 miles from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, cycling through stunning scenery and some testing terrain.

Amongst those eager to end the winning run of Cintra CEO Carsten Staehr and his team mates Alastair Green and Gary Eden are Team Cycle Flatley, Team Bike Tyson and, hoping they live up to their name, Team Danish Dynamite Destroyers.

The Coast to Coast will help to raise vital funds for COCO projects in South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. COCO is a registered children’s charity working on closely monitored education and healthcare initiatives that make a big difference to the lives of children living in poverty throughout the developing world.

If you would like to enter a team, or be a part of a Cintra team, please contact Carsten’s right hand lady, Alex Watt on 0191 4787000 or email her at alexandra.watt@ . Further details about the challenge can be found by visiting the COCO website at www.coco.org.uk under the ‘Get Involved’ section. Deadline for entries is 1st August.
