The Cintra HQ is filled with the sweet smell of cupcakes and cookies today as the Cintra team have been hard at work baking tasty treats to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Dementia is the number one cause of death in England and Wales. It doesn’t discriminate and currently there’s no cure. Last year, dedicated Cupcakers around the country united to raise a mighty £330,000 to support the Alzheimer’s Society in the fight against dementia.
Bureau Administrator, Nicola Wardle was keen to join in Cupcake Day 2017 and was overwhelmed by the support of her colleagues. “This is an awful disease which touches the lives of so many. I’m so pleased that so many of my colleagues have joined in this initiative…both by baking and eating! We’re delighted to be able to play our part in not only helping to create a better world for people affected by dementia today, but also to find a cure for tomorrow.”
