Long standing supporters of St. Oswald’s Hospice, Cintra are delighted to be one of the founding members of their new Better Together Business Club.

Cintra is known for its philanthropy and its desire to help others. Corporate responsibility, social accounting, being a part of the community…whatever you choose to call it – at Cintra, helping others is a part of our culture.  Our staff are passionate about supporting worthy causes and Cintra is passionate about supporting both its staff and social concerns.

Activities have ranged from the energetic – cycling across Africa and white collar boxing, to the more sedate quiz evenings and cake days.

The opportunity to join the St. Oswald’s Better Together Business Club reflects the foundations of that which Cintra holds dear…making happy happen! The Business Club has been set up by St. Oswald’s as a low cost way of encouraging businesses to support hospice nurses.

Many businesses would love to support the likes of St Oswald’s Hospice but don’t necessarily have the time to devote to fundraising activities. The manageable monthly contribution required for Business Club membership means that it is accessible to everyone – businesses can bask in the warm glow of knowing that they are helping to fund the vital work of hospice nurses for a small monthly contribution and the time it takes to fill in a standing order form!

Commenting on the initiative, Cintra CEO said: “This partnership approach is core to Cintra’s ethos, so it’s an absolute natural fit! St. Oswald’s Hospice is an amazing local charity which we have been proud to support now for a number of years and I think this is a great initiative:  St. Oswald’s are really innovative in their approach to engaging with business and the wider community and I hope this will encourage more to become involved. We will continue with our range of fundraising activities as well, but this is a great way of encouraging and enabling a wider support network.”
