The facts, figures, thresholds and allowances for 2026/27, in one handy guide.

Exciting times at Cintra HQ! Hot on the heels of bagging the Best Payroll Service Provider at the CIPP Awards, Cintra picked up two accolades at the recent Reward Strategy Awards, winning Best Employer and Best Rebrand.

A hugely popular event in the payroll and reward calendar, The Rewards, now in its 9th year, continues to go from strength to strength. With payroll still at the heart of the event, the award categories reflect the widening remit of the profession and its close association with HR, reward, pensions and employee benefits. The glittering ceremony, which took place in London in December has resulted in a very Merry Christmas for all of us here at Cintra.

Judges were overwhelmed by the staff testimonials supporting Cintra’s application for Best Employer, which clearly demonstrated a commitment and sense of belonging throughout the organisation. They also particularly commended Cintra’s impressive commitment to staff development and training. A great complement to this was also picking up the Best Rebrand Award – judges felt that not only was the visual representation outstanding, but that the branding message of ‘the friendly face of HR & Payroll’ and ‘making happy happen’ was a genuine reflection of the culture of Cintra as an organisation

Cintra CEO Carsten Staehr is over the moon: “This really does round off and outstanding year. Our staff and clients mean the world to us and the awards we have won this year are testament to the great relationships we share. Integrity is the solid foundation on which we build our relationships, so the fact that our branding is recognised as a true portrayal of the Cintra experience is tremendously important to us. Here’s to making happy happen in 2020!”

It’s been a landmark period for the business. Alongside industry recognition, Cintra has strengthened its position with key milestones — securing Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation to reinforce its commitment to data security, being recognised within the Reward 100, and earning a place on the shortlist for the Global Payroll Awards. Cintra has also entered a new phase of growth as part of the Payroll Software & Services Group, further expanding its capabilities and reach.
