2024/25 Payroll Legislation Guide

The facts, figures, thresholds and allowances for 2024/25, in one handy guide.

Cintra is delighted to announce that it has achieved reaccreditation of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) Payroll Assurance Scheme (PAS), with a score of 100% – only the second time such an impressive score has been achieved in the history of the certification.

At the forefront of changes to and developments in payroll processing and software, Cintra recognises the importance of external validation of both its first class product and service.

Hot on the heels of a successful Bacs audit and in addition to both ISO9001 and ISAE402, which demonstrate high quality service, integrity and security, CIPP PAS accreditation validates Cintra’s robust payroll processes.  Payroll processing is the foundation of the Cintra service offering and it is of paramount importance that we are able to demonstrate the efficiency, compliance and control expected of a top class payroll provider.

Commenting on the accreditation, Head of Quality and compliance guru, Sheila Hughes said: “The CIPP are the pre-eminent industry body for payroll professionals and this accreditation remains the icing on our compliance cake.  We invest a lot of time and effort in making sure that our processes not only serve our clients well but demonstrate industry best practice, ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for our customers. We are proud to carry the PAS kitemark as a demonstration of the high quality payroll processing service we provide.”

Bureau Manager Michael Hughes is particularly pleased with the accolade: “I’m delighted with our score – full marks in such a stringent assessment is an amazing achievement. The CIPP assessor was very complimentary, not only about our procedures but also by the willingness and enthusiasm of the team during the assessment process. As the bureau department has grown in the two years since our initial accreditation, we have a number of staff who were not a part of the original visit and all were keen to demonstrate the part they play in our compliance. It was humbling for me as Bureau Manager to see how proud each individual team member is of the work they do.”
