Hat Trick of National Honours for Cintra HR & Payroll Services

Cintra is celebrating after picking up not one, not two but three commendations at the prestigious national ceremony The Rewards (formerly The Payroll World Awards), held in London last night: Best Customer Service, Best Employer and Rising Star.

The hugely popular Payroll World Awards evolved last year into The Rewards. With payroll still at the heart of the event, the award categories now reflect the widening remit of the profession and its close association with HR, reward, pensions and employee benefits. The Rewards ceremony is undoubtedly one of the most distinguished events on the industry’s calendar.

The broader remit of the awards sees increased opposition for recognition and Cintra fought off stiff competition in three highly sought after categories.

Bureau Administrator, Adam Ellison was Highly Commended in the Rising Star category, having already won the CIPP Newcomer of the Year Award last month. Still reeling from the success at both prestigious events Adam commented:

“I am absolutely delighted that my efforts have been recognised, but I really see this as another testament for Cintra being the ‘Best Employer’. The training, support and encouragement I have had has been phenomenal. My line manager is a fantastic mentor and I genuinely look forward to coming to work every day.”

Cintra CEO Carsten Staehr was literally jumping for joy at the announcement, as the 500 strong audience at the awards evening can testify. Commenting on the wins, Carsten says:

“To be awarded Best Employer and Best Customer Service really sums up what Cintra is all about. “We truly believe that our people are our key differentiator and what make Cintra, and working with Cintra special. Our approach to looking after our people is certainly not mainstream. We apply the same innovative approach to our staff engagement that we do to our product and service development and winning the Best Employer Award is a great endorsement of our unique approach.”

“Our mission statement is to keep our customers happy. The fact that it is the ringing endorsements from our customers which have helped us to win the Best Customer Service Award demonstrate that we truly live and breathe this mission statement. For us it’s not simply a phrase that sits in a document or on our website it’s at the very heart of the culture of our organisation. I am simply bursting with pride!”
