From 30 October 2026, the duty to prevent sexual harassment moves from “reasonable steps” to “all reasonable steps”. You’ll also become liable for harassment of your employees by third parties, such as customers, clients, and contractors, and that covers harassment related to any relevant protected characteristic.
A policy and generic training are a solid foundation, but they’re unlikely to be enough on their own. You’ll need to show you’ve assessed the risks in your organisation, which is exactly what our Harassment Risk Assessment helps you do.
Join Sarah Gray, Director of HR, for a practical session on what’s changing and what to do next.
In this session, we’ll cover:
These changes affect every employer, so this session is for anyone responsible for people at work, from HR teams and business owners to line managers.
All attendees will receive a practical harassment prevention checklist, so you can leave the session ready to act, not just informed.
Can’t join us live? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording.
The EHRC has made it clear: “It is unlikely that an employer will be able to comply with the preventative duty unless they carry out a risk assessment.”
Our Harassment Risk Assessment gives you an independent review of your harassment risks, with an objective report and a prioritised action plan. We’ll give you the report and recommendations; putting them into practice remains your responsibility as the employer.
