You asked, we listened—the much-anticipated Cintra Conference is returning to Newcastle in 2024! 

We’ll be welcoming customers, partners, and friends of Cintra to The Crowne Plaza for an insight-packed two days on 9th and 10th July. From workshops and training to networking and socials, preparations are in full swing, and we can’t wait to welcome you to our beloved North East.

What’s on this year

We’ve carefully considered all your feedback and requests following our 2023 conference, with the goal of making 2024 better than ever. Here’s what you can expect: 

Day 1, Tuesday 9th July

Kicking off at 1pm to give all travellers time to make it to Newcastle and get settled, on day one you’ll be able to attend three separate sessions. During each session slot, you get to attend the workshop most relevant to you due to three running simultaneously—with some repeated on day two to make sure you’re not missing out:

    • How to Digitalise Your Expense Process with Capture Expense: James Rowell, Founder of Capture Expense 
    • Deep Dive into Cintra Reporting: Mark Faulkner, Product Manager 
  • Session 2: 2.30pm – 3.10pm 
    • Education Focus – MCR in Cintra IQ: Jess McEvoy, Head of Product 
    • Interactive Q&A for Cintra IQ Users: Andrew Thompson, Head of Support 
    • Interactive Q&A for Outsourced Service Users: Nik Brooks, Head of Payroll Outsourced Services 
  • Session 3: 3.30pm – 4.10pm 
    • Payrolling Benefits – What You Need to Know: Matthew Akrigg, CIPP Policy Officer, and Ed Hawley, Chief Sales Officer 
    • Compliance and Cybersecurity at Cintra: Stephen Pearson, Head of IT 
    • Product Spotlight – Payroll Software for Bureaus: Mark Faulkner, Product Manager, and Tom Nokes, Head of Sales. 
  • Evening reception: 5pm 
    • Join us at The Telegraph for our evening reception for food, networking, and drinks! 

Day 2, Wednesday 10th July

Heading back to The Crowne Plaza for day 2, make sure to arrive for 9.30 for registration. Once you’re registered, coffee in hand, and ready to start the day, you can settle in for a (quite literally) action packed day:

Travel and accommodation

We’d recommend also booking your stay at The Crowne Plaza, so you can take full advantage of our exclusive Cintra package and also be exactly where you need to be for the conference! You can book your room here. 

The Crowne Plaza is a short walk from Newcastle Central Station (less than 5 minutes) making it super accessible by train.  

Alternatively, if you’re driving, the hotel is situated by the Stephenson Quarter Car Park, where the hotel can be accessed from level 10. More information on that, including charges, here.
